The Park House Cup at Cowdray Polo Club…with our long standing and continued association with polo playing guests from the nearby Cowdray Park Polo Club, we were delighted to be the sponsors of their recent Invitation Under Twenty Ones Tournament. Comprising four teams of up-and-coming polo players, the “Lions” team were the eventual winners after two days of closely fought competition and we were delighted to present them with the Park House Trophy.

Thank-you for supporting our charity evening…….Thank-you to everyone who attended and supported our Charity Floral Demonstration evening at Park House recently. We had a fantastic turnout and raised over £600 for Pancreatic Cancer Action from the ticket sales. Our Food and Beverage Manager, Gyula Uhrin, created a wonderful looking purple cocktail in support of the Charity which was very much enjoyed by all. Matthew Spriggs, Creative Director of our local florist, Spriggs of Petworth, hosted the evening and demonstrated how to create wonderful autumnal floral arrangements which were then raffled off at the end of the evening. We very much hope to get Matthew back for a Christmas workshop, when guests will be able to make their own Christmas wreathes and decorations under Mathew’s expert guidance. “Little Oaks” house now available for short-term lets…located about a mile down the road from Park House, “Little Oaks” is a newly renovated contemporary family house now available for short term lets – a maximum of six months – via the hotel.
With six double bedrooms, this family house has a large garden to the rear and private parking in the front. All six bedrooms offer en-suite accommodation and downstairs there is a large kitchen with dining area, a generously-sized sitting room with wood burning stove, a cosy study, a utility room and a large front hall. The kitchen opens out onto a sun terrace and the garden beyond, and there are sun loungers and an outdoor table and chairs for guests to enjoy alfresco eating. The interior of the house is decorated to a high specification and is very well equipped to accommodate up to twelve guests. There is a TV in every bedroom with free view channels, a TV with Sky in the sitting room and Wifi available throughout the house.
